Pricing FAQ
What counts as a scan?
One video analysed end-to-end through the forensic pipeline — whether uploaded as a file or submitted as a platform URL. Re-running analysis on the same video counts as a new scan.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time — your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. There are no long-term contracts on the self-serve tiers.
Do you offer a discount for newsrooms and nonprofits?
We offer 50% off for accredited fact-checking organisations, nonprofit newsrooms and academic researchers. Email hello@clipforensics.io from your organisation address to apply.
What happens when I reach my monthly scan limit?
Scanning pauses until your next billing cycle, or you can upgrade instantly to a higher tier. We never auto-charge overages without your consent.
How accurate is ClipForensics?
ClipForensics produces a probabilistic forensic assessment backed by named, timestamped evidence — not a guaranteed verdict. Reliability varies by footage type (see the limitations below). Always read the evidence, not just the score.
Is my payment information secure?
Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. ClipForensics never receives or stores your card details.
